The RNC Daily

COMMENTARY

The coming election will decide the immediate future direction of Titulia's Government. Do we want the same people calling the shots at Liberty House, or do we want a fair go where all Titulians are welcome to the people's house to share their ideas?
The incumbent president, a continuation of the one before, has attacked the very symbolism of political opposition and fair debate. Instead of rising to the discussion, members of the incumbent SDP/Linardist Government possess the ineptitude of one strategy: Attack those that disagree with them at the most personal, beguiling level. We want there to be an argument and we encourage a fierce one, but on the issues for the issues to help the people. All the Brady Government and their allies know how to do is go for the legs of the people wanting democracy to rise up and use Government resources to do it.
This March election the choice is obvious:
Do you want a fifth term of the same style of rotten governance in Liberty House that disrespects you as a person?
Do you want a fifth term of policies that you don't agree with?
Do you want a fifth term of more hand-picked committees and endless bureaucracy that does nothing to benefit every citizen: unless they're friendly with the Government?

OR

Do you want a Government that is compassionate to you, listens to you, with debate with respect to you as a person, builds a Titulia on moderate policy and allows open and fierce competition with the nation: a trend that has proven can grow Titulia instead of the failed attempts to hold hands and slow down debate in an open process?
I won't be standing, nor will I accept a nomination for the highest office of sacred trust. But from out of our ranks today in the largest party in this great republic will come forward our new leader and candidate for President of Titulia. This will be a close election and will depend on a lot of commitment and hard work to elect a Republican that will free Titulia once more. If we can't liberate this electronic state at the coming election, there is little else we can do but work together to win the next election, and the next election and the one after that until we do help restore liberty and democracy to the streets.
This is the first party I have joined where in order to help by brother and sister members, I have sacrificed the expression of a lot of the political positions that I have embraced for nearly all my life. I have not sold them away and I haven't changed my mind. But this election is more than policy: this is about restoring open and democratic government that cares for its citizens no matter which party they belong to.
During the coming weekend at the RNC convention I ask each and every Republican: moderate or conservative to come together. Get behind the incoming RNC president, get behind Vice President Norton as he is elected to the role of Chairman and get behind the next RNC candidate for president and only through your hard work: the 11th President of the Republic.
