TITULIA CITY (RNC Daily) | GOP Branch President JP9893 (R-GOP) has responded to the TC/Daily article on Julian’s ‘endorsement’ of him running for GOP Branch President again, even after he initially planned on retiring. He has decided to resign his branch presidency, effective as soon as a successor is found. JP has decided to leave a statement:
I have decided to resign the post of GOP Branch President and hereby declare a new election that I will NOT run in. Despite my previous claim, I feel that I am the only center-right person left in the GOP. The RNC’s home branch has been recently receiving members from James Matthews’ previous party and I feel we are complete opposites. I feel that we may not get along and that I do not represent their ideology as their branch president. They have some Moderate Republican ideologies that I feel I do not completely agree on. I will also be resigning my post at TC MediaCorp as its CEO/Special Representative, effective March 13 (After the TNC Economic Forum). The article about my possible staying is true (or was) until I decided to rethink my options. I am joining OwenMerry’s Freemarketeers branch as it has ideologies that I feel are best, especially for personal responsibility. I also apologize for my previous comments on the GOP newcomers, as I felt we would not get along. I do, however think the Moderates have taken over the GOP. I apologize to RNC Leader Julian for making this unexpected announcement. I do not wish to disrupt his administration, despite my previous attempts to unseat him. I will resign the GOP Branch Presidency once a new, formidable candidate files for the election. I ask that my successor keep the branch homepage the way it currently is (exceptions in dates of leaders, etc).
JP9893 will continue as an RNC Daily contributor and Titulia Post Editor-in-Chief. JP is the longest-serving GOP Branch President, taking office in September 2009. RNC Leader Julian (R-Con) told the Daily he is ‘saddened’ of all of JP’s departures and that ‘TC MediaCorp and the RNC will deeply miss him’.
