by RNC Leader JP9893 (R-GOP)
Many are arguing that I do not represent the party’s best interest. By attacking Norton and his attempt at Unity and bringing our parties together, members are showing their true personal colors – not the RNC’s. As you can tell by the way we voted, I voted along party lines 60+% of the time. I personally think we should give Norton a chance to form a government like no other. Unlike previous governments, he is seeking to heal wounds with others instead of pushing partisan politics. I stand strong with President Norton, and I ask that as members of this grand coalition – that you do the same. We all voted to bring a change and unite us all under a better government.
On the legislature, the RNC will not be permitted to vote as their own bloc. I feel that the RNC is not strong enough to maintain the legislature, and we need the support of others in order to sustain government. I hope to reach out with the LRP on the legislature, once we are able to field candidates. However, I do support Mr Julian’s candidacy for Speaker of the legislature. But, House Speakers need the support of a majority in the House. He’s got to give a good presentation or face the axe once more.
I stand strong with this coalition and this President.
