TITULIA CITY (TC-Daily) | RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-FM) has announced he was a candidate for nomination, but decided to drop out and run for the Party Leadership. In an exclusive to TC- Mr JI said he may not be ready to run for President, but is more than ready to lead the party after outgoing RNC Leader Julian leaves office. This drop out leaves only one candidate – who has not been revealed yet by the RNC Leadership. JI also told TC that he will not initiate a Leadership election during nomination period, and will instead initiate one during the General Election that brings up those who aren’t usually active. GOP Branch Pres. JP9893, who is a perennial candidate for RNC Leader is also rumored to run for RNC Leader Julian’s job as well. Mr. Julian is vacating the leadership after a troubled presidency that resulted in impeachment. He has confirmed he will not leave politics and will continue to have influence in TC MediaCorp and is expected to run for a seat in the new legislature – whatever it may be.
